This is more of a bulletin board or a reference page than anything else.
Even when we are working in the same city, it is often hard to get together due to our schedules. It is even rarer when we cross paths abroad. But we do; so this page is to share Email addresses, career opportunities, cool web sites, photos and stories with our friends.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations,
for Nature cannot be fooled." -- Richard Feynman"The factory of the future will have only two employees, a man and a dog. The man will be there to feed the dog. The dog will be there to keep the man from touching the equipment." -- Warren Bennis
"Organizations are like fish with people as their cells. They evolve to thrive in the ocean, the high-viscosity world of the industrial age. These fish must now change into fowl to thrive in the zero-viscosity world of the information age. Most of them won't make it. Evolution doesn't work that way." -- Brad Cox, WIRED, June 1997

Dear friends:
Besides Carlos in Ciudad de Mexico, some of us really miss you without chatting each other these days. Even though we are so neatly connected on the web.
Here are some updates with email addresses:
Hideki (Ito, strangely they always call him by the set of given & surname) came back to Japan after some 3+ years fantastic days with his own office and a beautiful OWN secretary in Manhattan. He is now one of us, working in no-privacy Japanese big hall type office. (I guess.) His new email address: itoki.crebio@ibm.net
Hiro (Nakai) changed places. He is now in Washington D.C., working "to increase the general public's understanding of U.S.-JAPAN relations" at Keizai Koho Center, Japan Institute for Social and Economic Affairs. Hiro is waiting for your welcome-back-to-the-US greeting at: nakai@kkc-usa.org .
Also visit http://necsv01.keidanren.or.jp/KKC/index.html
Masa is still in Europe. He recently introduced his company (Masa is Deputy Chairman there!)'s own mail server so that he no longer needs to send/receive English mails with his Japanese colleagues. The server, fortunately, still understand some English(Queen's only maybe): mkaneko@cornes-uk.co.uk
Famous groumant Take (Nakagawa) was bored up with Osaka foods and moved to Tokyo a couple months ago. (Take was transferred to Jusco's Tokyo office.) He still prefers live communication mode and is waiting for good timing to open email account to try cyber stuff.Summer greeting from Tokyo, the Far East City where it is awfully hot & humid everyday this year.
